ICS-ST series electronic belt scale

When it comes to belt scales, the top priority is obviously reliable accuracy over the long term.  The scale should be repeatable day to day, month to month, year to year. We understand that reliable, repeatable accuracy is extremely important both for our customer’s process efficiency and quality. YORK ICS-ST series electronic belt scale are designed to deliver the necessary results.  Our belt scale features accurate readings within ± 0.25% of test load and is repeatable to ± 0.125%, when properly installed and maintained to MERRICK standards.

Working principle of belt scale
  • l the weighing bridge is generally installed on the conveyor frame, and the material generally acts on the idler. Through the lever principle, we transfer the weight of the idler to the weighing sensor, which generates a voltage signal proportional to the weight of the material;
  • l then the speed sensor is directly connected to the large-diameter speed measuring drum. When the drum drives the belt to rotate, the speed measuring sensor will generate a series of pulse signals proportional to the speed, which will be transmitted to the instrument,
  • l through integral calculation, the instantaneous material mass is obtained, and through continuous cumulative calculation, the material mass on the whole belt is obtained, so as to achieve accurate dynamic weighing, and finally displayed on the instrument.
